My friends and I have been singing along to some Eartha Kitt songs today ...
and I do have a few favourites...
This being one :
I'd definitely ask for an Old Fashioned Disciplinarian instead of a Millionaire though :-)
And switch the desire for oil and counting money into lots of love and smacked bottoms instead!
P.s.
If anyone can help me learn to embed film clips in here, rather than just posting a link, I'd be very grateful.
Thank you to those who helped me fix this :-)

If you look on the YouTube page there is an EMBED with some code.
Copy the code.
Paste it into your blog.
Blogger 'should' recognise the code and embed the video.
You can see this working on my own blog here:

Just make sure that you are in the Edit HTML mode, rather than the compose mode, when you cut and paste it. When you switch back to the compose tab, it will just show a box, until you either go to preview or publish.
On YouTube the embed code is to the right of the video, right under the URL. Not all videos have embedding enabled, but most do.
Thank you RPT and Alice,
I'm going to give it a go.
Many thanks again.

Dear Olivia,
when I post things from YouTube, I do it by being a registered user (it's free). When you register you tell them the name and URL of your blog. Then, when you find something you want to post, sign in, and click on 'post to blog.' Super easy!
Good luck,
Constance
Thank you Constance :-)
Lovely to see you here!

A nice tribute and I'm glad it looks like you figured out the embedding techie thing. *smiles* Happy Holiday sweet lady. I hope your new years is filled with every good thing. ((big hugs))!
Andrades and Shannee,
Thank you both for stopping by.
I am really very happy to now know how to embed films from You Tube, and kind of feel a bit foolish that I couldn't figure it out for myself!!
It is always lovely to hear from you both.

Hi Olivia:
I know you don't have much time left on writing your paper. I just wanted to send you some support with the writing. I kinda picture you typing away on your pc. Hope it all goes well!

That is really lovely and sweet and thoughtful of you. If truth be known I was struggling a little these last few days to be fully focussed and applied to my work ( especially as I am in complete solitude out in the countryside and my mind has been wandering .. ) especially as my Disciplinarian has been away....but he is back for just tonight....and a few loving but stern words from him have set me back on track..he is off again tomorrow for another wee while....and so your words of support and encouragement are really welcomed and appreciated.
Many thanks and hugs,
Olivia
