Bonnie over at My Bottom Smarts is today hosting the third Love Our Lurkers Day and has asked us to encourage anyone that lurks around here to delurk and say hello!
Last year 83 spanking - orientated blogs posted Love Our Lurkers messages and they received 1444 comments, but it is not the quantity of comments that is important, it is the meeting of new friends, readers, and like-minded spirits.
This year I am one of 135 bloggers that have been asked to participate and my hope is that in doing so some or even just one of my readers will peek out, so.... introduce yourself, ask a question, share a story, or just say a simple hello... whatever you feel inspired to do.
I can understand your lurking, I lurked for a long time before I started this blog and it feels kind of safe being there I think, but I'd love to get to know my readers a little more, and I'd love for them to experience being a part of this community more. I wouldn't flatter myself that I even have any readers or lurkers except my profile on blogger has been viewed nearly 4000 times since April.
So who are you?
You intrigue me!
I'm interested in you!
Delurk and come out and play ;-)

Hi Olivia,
Who am I? I'm a wife, mother, grandmother, writer, blogger, theater patron, and dedicated spanking enthusiast. What I am not is a lurker. Oh well.
I hope your excellent post attracts lots of friendly lurkers!
Hugs,
Bonnie
Hello. I'm a relative new-boy here on the blogs (but with plenty of experience of spanking!)
Hi, Spanky here! I'm not sure if I've commented here before or not, so thought I'd drop in. I'm a frequent reader, and have you linked from my blog so whenever you post I scurry over and read it. Happy Blogging!

I'm a student and my friend Eryn who comes to your Pink Cheeks group pointed me in this direction. I enjoy your writing and I've found other great blogs through this one.

Hello! I'm not a lurker...but its still fun to comment. *smiles*
Hey Olivia! I can't remember if I ever comment here. Surely I have at least once before. If not, today is the day! Happy blogging!
Have read and enjoyed your blog... but not sure we've commented. Have now though and promised to do so more often in the future.

I'm not in the habit of commenting on your blog, which is faintly ridiculous as I always read it and enjoy it. I hope LOL stimulates much more responses, and I'll try to engage more in future! xx
Hi Olivia,
I visit your blog regularly. Keep up the great work.
Hugs,
Hermione

Hi, Olivia! I might be a lurker here. I have your blog in my reader, but only poke my nose in when I have something to contribute. I'm kinda sleep deprived and really can't remember if I've commented here. Happy LOL Day. :)
Hi, Olivia,
Happy LOL Day.
Never been here before. I like your writing, I must come here sometimes to read it.

I enjoy your writing and find much that I can empathise with. Good luck with your blog.
Sorry I missed you LOL. I love your blog and don't always comment but always read
Ciao

LOL day was like Halloween for me, getting treats and watching as my friends got treats, and wondering who got the most and the best...but in all the confusion I missed ringing on YOUR doorbell, Olivia! Forgive me!
Hi, I'm Steve. I have been a switch with an emphasis on the sub side for many years. I never had a name for what I am until the last five or six years, I just know that sometimes it is healthy for me to not have control, to not have a say in what happens to my bottom, to do as I'm told or face the consequences.
I'm recidavist, partner of K.
I write about our DD relationship because I enjoy writing and its good therapy for the notion that what we do is a bit odd to write about it and be part of the community of like minded people.
We read more blogs than we comment on (including yours) partly I suppose because some people see the F/M thing as "different". Personally I've always seen a spanking totally non-genderist, everyone's bottom gets red in the end, and usually for the same reasons! A subject Constance and I have debated at length in the past
Enough about me, we like your blog and will keep reading.

Hello!
Who am I? A good question. I'm a student, I'm a techy, I'm a daughter, I'm a sister, I'm a sometimes blogger, I'm a website designer and most of all, I'm a dreamer!
I read your blog when I get a chance and your writing is beautiful!

Hi Olivia,
I stumbled across your blog (as you do) and found it fascinating....I've spent
more time here than I should but for someone with the attention span
of the average fruit fly that's a tribute to the quality and creativeness
of your writing.
So at the risk of sounding patronising.....What a complex and interesting young lady you are!
I'm a 51 yo spankee (valid word?) but having read some of your prose and admired the flushed and glowing bottoms within, I'm wondering if the grass might be greener (or the cheeks rosier) on the other side.
May you continue to blog and delight as long as circumstances permit.....Boxa X
Thank you :-)
